Commentary
Antler tenon.
Not shaped as a grip; thick, curved and forked; sawed through or broken and partly polished on the ends. The rest of the surface seems to be unaffected. On the narrow end a small hole for hanging.
Close by the hole an inscription.
So far not autopsied by the Thesaurus Inscriptionum Raeticarum. The indications follow the information given in literature (cp. below the bibliography).
