The rock is a large freestanding limestone lintel block with inscriptions on the slightly overhanging north-west face (Raetic and younger).
Bildstelle 1 (right side): UG-1.1, UG-1.2
Bildstelle 2 (left side): UG-1.3, UG-1.4
Apart from the two well legible inscriptions on the right and the two heavily weathered ones on the left, an indeterminable number of additional texts may have been inscribed in the bottom centre of the wall and in the area left of UG-1.1, but only vague traces, most of them potential remains of vertical frame lines, can be made out (see photos above).
The rock is situated in the Ammergebirge (Pürschlinggebiet) at about 1190 m a.s.l. Coordinates are not provided to prevent damage to the inscriptions.
