Inscribed on the foot of the bronze, length about 2.9 cm. The characters are well discernible, but cannot be read. From the two complex characters and the symbol {{c||symbol}}, it may be deduced that the characters are to be looked at upside-down (with the figurine standing on its head). From right to left, two vertical strokes, followed by an oblique line {{c||line d 2}}, from which extend four bars: one top right {{c||line d 20}}, three on the left side as in {{c||E}}. After a space, another complex character similar to {{c||M|d}}, but with the bar touching the hasta a little below the top. Two more vertical strokes, another space, and {{c||symbol}}. Both Mayr and {{bib|Pellegrini 1951}}: 311 f. (no. 7) (very tentatively) read the {{c||M|d}}-like character as a letter and the other complex character as a ligature, but {{bib|Vetter 1954}}: 71 (no. 7) points out the space separating them.
