Commentary
Large lintel block.
Near the rock a source, comparable to AK-1 rock. The inscriptions bearing rock face overhanging and relatively low as well as the place below this rock face is inapplicable as resting place due to the narrow and the dampness. On the opposite side however protection from weather.
At several points scratchings at which two places contain less well preserved Raetic inscriptions cp. ..... which date to the La Tène period.
The find place is located in the Achensee region which is part of the Northern Limestone Alps. This mountain range is made of lighter and more porous rock at which the major component is limestone. Additionally dolomite, marl, sandstone or comparable components appear.
