Raetic Mu appears consistently with three rather than four bars (addM1 s, as in the neighbouring traditions). This characteristic, unifying the Sanzeno and Magrè alphabets, connects the Raetic script with the Venetic alphabet of Vicenza (see Script). Mu is never attested in inverted form, but the inverted variant is retained as a possibility to parallel (rare) inverted Nu.
