Raetic Mu appears consistently with three rather than four bars ({{c||addM1}}, as in the neighbouring traditions). This characteristic, unifying the Sanzeno and Magrè alphabets, connects the Raetic script with the Venetic alphabet of Vicenza (see [[index::Script]]). Mu is never attested in inverted form, but the inverted variant is retained as a possibility to parallel (rare) inverted [[index::N|Nu]]. | |||
