| separator
| Automatically separates the words in the transliteration. Do not try to display more points: "
:
" is the sign for all variants of separators, like "
a
" is the sign for all variants of A!

*Use " " or "
:
" to separate words, and "
!
" to separate linked and displayed forms of a word, e.g. "
linkform!displayform
".
*The linked form must be a word page! These are normalised word forms, there are no word pages for writing variants!
*To display spaces, "/" (or other functional characters) in the display form (for whatever reason!), they have to be HTML-masked, e.g. "
linkform!display form
".
*Example: "
sφuras!sφura·s entus!entuṣ
" will display "sφura·s entuṣ". (Note the difference between the linked and the displayed forms.)

With this form, pages that use the Template:inscription can be created or edited. See the Category:Inscription for a list of all 389 inscription pages.

Note: Use the correct punctuation mark (e.g. the hyphen "-") for sigla and page names of inscriptions, e.g. "MA-4"
