Commentary

Found and published by Mandl 2011: 124. Examined by TIR in July 2014.

Image in Schumacher 2016: Abb. 3 (photo of the entire wall).

The rock is a large freestanding limestone lintel block with Raetic inscriptions on the perpendicular wall. It is situated in the Ammergebirge (Pürschlinggebiet) at about 1390 m a.s.l. (Schumacher 2016: 825) in steep, pathless terrain, in relative proximity to UG-3 rock and a considerable number of further inscribed blocks (none with known Raetic inscriptions). Coordinates are not provided to prevent damage to the inscriptions.
