Template:masklink

This support template serves to create a link to the given page, masked by :. This is useful for creating links to file pages as page names instead of displaying them.

Usage

The code {{masklink|pagename}} or {{masklink|pagename|text}} will create a link to pagename as if written in Wiki code [[:pagename]] or [[:pagename|text]].

Example

• {{masklink|A}} will print out A.
• {{masklink|A|an example}} will print out an example.
• {{masklink|File:SZ-24 antler.jpg}} will print out File:SZ-24 antler.jpg.
• {{masklink|File:SZ-24 antler.jpg|SZ-24 antler}} will print out SZ-24 antler.
