Commentary

Bronze in the shape of a horse pair.
Pellegrini states the proper name La pariglia siamese n. 3 due to the similarity to SZ-10 statuette and SZ-11 bronze (cp. Pellegrini 1951: 314).
Almost the entire group of bronzes from Sanzeno was discovered between 1947 and 1949. The bronzes were found by chance in a sand pit (cp. Pellegrini 1951: 304; Vetter 1954: 66-67).
Further references more related to the inscription: Pellegrini 1951: 314, fig. 12; Mayr 1951: 133 with transcription (Mayr labels the bronze as Doppelpferdchen C); Vetter 1954: 71.
