Commentary

Fragment of a ceramic vessel.
The ceramic fragment could be probably identified with No. 42 in Fogolari 1960 (cp. Fogolari 1960: 274: "Frammento fittile di orlo di vaso con ansa a nastro di grossolano impasto cinereo con due lettere graffite; cm. 10x6").
The potsherd bears two characters. Probably first published in IR: 273 (No. 40), with archaeological drawing of the potsherd.
The entire material discovered in Sanzeno dates to the late Iron age period, i.e. from the 5th century BC to the Roman period (cp. Fogolari 1960: 269). Therefore the ceramic fragment must also date to this timeframe.
So far not autopsied by the Thesaurus Inscriptionum Raeticarum. The indications follow the information given in literature (cp. below the bibliography).
