Meißel aus Eisen. Eine Identifizierung mit einem Objekt bei Nothdurfter war anhand der Inventarnummer nicht möglich.<br>Bei Stefan ist der Meißel mit 16,7cm Länge angegeben, zudem zeigt die Zeichnung einen Kopf.<br>Bei Mancini ist 16,9cm als Länge vermerkt und ebenfalls ein Kopf zu erkennen.<br>Das vorliegende Objekt ist 29,5cm lang und hat keinen Kopf. Die Schriftzeichen sind ebenso nicht auszumachen.

The present chisel is a fine and small flat chisel with a wheel head. The damage due to the corrosion is more distinct in the lower area, in the direction of the chisel point. The flat chisel was first published in {{bib|Schumacher 2004}}, particularly with regard to the inscription with the siglum [[index::BZ-16]].

Commentary

Iron chisel from St. Pauls / S. Paolo. There is another chisel with the same inventory number, but this chisel is taller and there is no inscription on it. The present chisel is a fine and small flat chisel with a wheel head. The damage due to the corrosion is more distinct in the lower area, in the direction of the chisel point. The flat chisel was first published in Schumacher 2004, particularly with regard to the inscription with the siglum BZ-16.
