Word
Language: Raetic
Word type: proper noun

Case: genitive
Number: singular

Morphemic analysis: pipi-s
Meaning: 'of/for Pipi*' (?)

Attestation: SZ-87 (]esminupitisθauχkaạna) (1)

Commentary

The sequence can be isolated once, for the doubtful reading of the anlaut (Pi vs. Lambda) see SZ-87. The word is likely to be a genitive form in -s, possibly the name of the recipient (cp. pianus/pianusa, θiuθis). Cp. the individual name pipie (with the same uncertainty in the anlaut), as well as pipe. However, SZ-87 is not completely transparent; the form might also be a noun.
