Word
Language: Raetic
Word type: proper noun

Case: nominative
Number: singular
Gender: masculine

Morphemic analysis: esiumni-nu
Meaning: 'son of Esimne/Esumne'

Commentary

The form, documented only once, is highly likely to correspond to either esimne or esumne. Both these are names of Celtic origin, which may have led to confusion concerning pronunciation and spelling in Raetic context. For the dubious stem vowel cp. esiunne in SZ-15.1.
