Commentary

Bone needle.
Broken at the area of the perforation; a section here is also missing.
Along the narrow side an inscription from right to left.
Like all the bone findings on the Ganglegg hill the bone needle dates to 3rd–1st centuries BC (cp. Gamper & Steiner 1999: 50–51).
To control: really old finding of an excavation Pohl and Wieser, find date?
