Commentary

First published in LIR. Autopsied by TIR in November 2013.

Pictures in Nothdurfter 1979: 100 (327) (drawing) and LIR (drawing).

Crudely executed with several strokes repeated. The exact shape of the first letter þ cannot be made out due to corrosion, but the reading þine is supported by the same inscription occurring in the same place on another iron farming implement, with þ in the shape Þ3 s.
