On the neck-guard. In contrast to SZ-73.1, this inscription is engraved. The three letters are faint, but unambiguous. The helmet seems to have been mended, the piece bearing the letters being reattached. The different condition of the material hinders the examination of potential traces of signs before E s (see drawing).
