Commentary

Fragment of a situla.
Part of the rim and the upper part of the body. Patina from green to dark green in colour with white patches. Highly damaged, broken in many places. Creased rim at which the border is missing at one part.
No decorations visible.
On the rim an inscription.
The find circumstances are unknown but the object can be compared with other discoveries from Sanzeno.
In Franz 1959 only a transcription of the inscription (cp. Franz 1959: 228, pl. 3.7).
Autopsied by the Thesaurus Inscriptionum Raeticarum in November 2013.
