Traces of what Whatmough read (dextroverse) (with both signs askew, see his drawing) can still be found, even though the object is heavily corroded. Mancini included the inscription (and object) twice, SA-80 going back to PID, while SA-55 was seen by him but not identified with the inscription on Whatmough's 'chisel'. Independently of Whatmough, Mancini read θa (dextroverse), disregarding the faint traces to the right of more evident A s, but including indentations to the left to represent Θ s.
