Commentary

Length 6.8 cm. Inscribed on the back of the bronze, starting at the bifurcated end. The letters are well legible and unambiguous, and extend over the entire breadth of the object. Second is disturbed by the drilled circle in the centre; it appears to have been inscribed after the circle was applied. There is a distinct space between the two words (about 0.5 cm).
The inscription contains the individual name remi already mentioned in the inscription on the front of the bronze (SZ-2.1). χariχa can either be another individual name, or an individual name χari (possibly attested elsewhere) with an enclitic conjunction -χa 'and'. It is not clear whether the two inscriptions on the back and the front belong together – the repetition of remi seems to suggest it, though why this person should be named twice remains open to speculation.
