Commentary
Bronze statuette.
Roberti states the proper name La pariglia siamese n. 2 (cp. Roberti 1950: 183) and in his consequence Pellegrini uses also this term (cp. Pellegrini 1951: 314).
Almost the entire group of bronze statuettes from Sanzeno was discovered between 1947 and 1949. The bronzes were found by chance in a sand pit (cp. Pellegrini 1951: 304; Vetter 1954: 66-67).
Further references more related to the inscription: Mayr 1951: 133, fig. XI (Mayr labels the bronze as Doppelpferdchen B); Vetter 1954: 71; Lejeune 1951: 214.
