Incised on the wall of the fragmentary vessel. Pellegrini's drawing clearly shows two St. Andrew's crosses. The character on the right might be V s or a form of Alpha. If the two bars are irrelevant scratches, the group might be another example of the manufacturer's mark I sΘ sΘ sI s iθθi – while the same only occurs on the bottom of cups, the other supposed factory mark from Bostel does also once occur on the wall, though on the inside (AS-23.2). But cp. also EX-95 and EX-96 for dubious scratchings on the walls of cups.
