Commentary

First published in Marinetti 2011b: 202 (no. 3 B). Autopsied by TIR on 14th October 2015.

Image in Marinetti 2011b: 202 (3) (drawing = MLR).

Inscribed on the wall (technically the shoulder) of the beaker; faint, but well distinguishable. A break damages the tops of the two leftmost characters. The sequence I sΘ sΘ sI s with a simple St. Andrew's cross occurs repeatedly in Rotzo; this variant with a symbol symbol s most probably belongs with this group. Cp. AS-15.1, which also contains the sequence, and AS-4.
