Commentary

First published in Pellegrini & Sebesta 1965: 15 (no. 11). Autopsied by TIR in November 2014.

Images in IR (photo tav. LV b = LIR).

Length about 22 cm. The lines tend to converge at the top, the grouping of them into letters is dubious. Probably non-script or pseudo-script. Cp. IT-6. See here for a discussion of possible interpretations of inscriptions with doubtful status. On the back, a sign symbol s with the intersecting lines at a right angle, and turned 45° in relation to the inscription.
