Length 5.7 cm, starting at the broader end of the antler piece. Considerable surface damage impedes the reading, but the lines are engraved deeply and clearly, so that the reading is unambiguous. Only the angle of the first Nu is partly abraded. | |||
Syllabic punctuation is applied correctly, marking {{p||m}} in the nasal cluster and word-final {{p||r}}. The text can be segmented into two sequences {{w||esiumninu}} and {{w||śur}}. {{w||esiumninu}} is a patronym in {{m||-nu}} from either {{w||esimnesi|esimne}} or {{w||esumnesi|esumne}} (cp. {{w||esiunne}} [[index::SZ-15.1]]), here with a reflex of the auslauting vowel retained before the suffix. {{w||śur}} is opaque. | |||

Length 5.7 cm, starting at the broader end of the antler piece. Considerable surface damage impedes the reading, but the lines are engraved deeply and clearly, so that the reading is unambiguous. Only the angle of the first Nu is partly abraded.
Syllabic punctuation is applied correctly, marking m in the nasal cluster and word-final r. The text can be segmented into two sequences esiumninu and śur. esiumninu is a patronym in -nu from either esimne or esumne (cp. esiunne SZ-15.1), here with a reflex of the auslauting vowel retained before the suffix. śur is opaque.
The object is the only antler piece from Magrè without marks on the back.
