Length 1.8 cm. Well legible; the letters Lambda and Pi are unambiguous. The two hastae of alleged Alpha do not meet, but Alpha is more likely than {{c||Θ}}{{c||I}}. Marchesini includes three small notches at the bottom of the line, regarding the rightmost one as the bar of a letter {{c||A22}}, hence her reading {{w||iạ(pr)}}. The other two notches align with the hastae of Lambda and Pi. All three notches appear to be scratched from the bottom upwards, their function is unclear.

Commentary

First published in Marinetti 2003: 112 (no. 3). Autopsied by TIR on 17th November 2015.

Images in Marinetti 2003: fig. 1.3 (drawing) (= Marinetti 2004: fig. 2,3), MLR (photo).

Length 1.8 cm. Well legible; the letters Lambda and Pi are unambiguous. The two hastae of alleged Alpha do not meet, but Alpha is more likely than Θ sI s. Marinetti includes three small notches at the bottom of the line, regarding the rightmost one as the bar of a letter A15 s, hence her reading iạ(pr). The other two notches align with the hastae of Lambda and Pi. All three notches appear to be scratched from the bottom upwards, their function is unclear. Note, however, the frequent appearance of A15 s (rather than forms with oblique bars) in inscriptions from San Giorgio di Valpolicella.
